AT 3:43 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS CONTINUED TO
DETECT WIDESPREAD SHOWERS OVER EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN
ARKANSAS. THE MORE INTENSE OF THIS ACTIVITY WAS OCCURRING ALONG
AND EAST OF A HOMINY TO CHECOTAH TO WILBURTON LINE. MOVEMENT
REMAINS TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

THROUGH 5:00 PM...PERSISTENT RAIN SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE FOR ALL OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND
WESTERN ARKANSAS. STEADY LIGHT SHOWERS WILL BE MOST COMMON FOR THE
AREA. HOWEVER...POCKETS OF MODERATE DOWNPOURS WILL OCCUR...ALONG
WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. HOURLY RAINFALL
RATES UP TO ONE TENTH OF AN INCH WILL BE COMMON...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF ONE HALF INCH WITH THE STRONGER
SHOWERS AND ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT MAY OCCUR.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA
AND WESTERN ARKANSAS THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
