Thanksgiving Weekend
Snowstorm
November 27-28th,
2004 - A strong Pacific storm system dug into the intermountain west
on Saturday spreading snow initially across southwest Wyoming, and into
central Wyoming by early Saturday evening. Snowfall intensified overnight,
especially across north through east facing mountain ranges. Adjacent
plains were also impacted...though snowfall totals decreased rapidly away
from the higher terrain. The following is a list of snowfall totals
reported to the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Riverton.
The staff at NWS Riverton would like to thank all of our dedicated
