JACKSON NOAA WEATHER RADIO TO CHANGE FREQUENCIES
ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2003
Interference with communication systems will necessitate a change in the Jackson NOAA Weather Radio transmitter frequency. The transmitter, located on Snow King Mountain and serving Jackson Hole and the surrounding area, will change frequencies on Monday, December 15, 2003. At that time residents can tune to 162.525 MHz to receive the latest weather forecasts, warnings, and statements from the National Weather Service. Currently, the Jackson NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts on a frequency of 162.400 MHz.
