Thunderstorm/Tornado Information

Tornado Warning TOR   None issued by this office recently. Issued when a tornado is imminent or occurring, based on radar or visual sightings. Typically issued for all or part of one county for 30 to 45 minutes.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning SVR   None issued by this office recently. Issued when a severe thunderstorm is imminent or occurring. Typically issued for 1 to 3 counties for 30 to 60 minutes.
Severe Weather Statement SVS   None issued by this office recently. Issued to relay urgent information about ongoing severe weather, such as damage reports and up-to-the-minute storm location updates. Also used to cancel or expire warnings.
Watch County Notification WCN   None issued by this office recently. Issued when conditions are favorable for damaging severe thunderstorm winds, hail, and/or tornadoes within the next 4 to 6 hours.

Flood Warning FLW   None issued by this office recently. Flood Warnings may be issued for river forecast points or for longer term inundating flooding for counties.
